OCFIT October 2025 | Wilsonville, OR

This intensive 5-day training will help you understand forensic interviewing in Oregon and guide you in engaging with the Oregon Interviewing Guidelines. The Oregon Child Forensic Interview Training (OCFIT) is evidence-based, supported by up-to-date research, and approved by the National Children’s Alliance to meet all Forensic Interview Training Standards.

NOTE:

  • Short breaks will be provided throughout the day and coffee/water service will be available.
  • You cannot receive a certificate of completion if you miss 30 minutes or more of this training.

LOGISTICS

ATTENDANCE
  • You must attend all training sessions live, in their entirety, to receive credit for attendance. If you miss more than 30 minutes of the training you cannot receive a Certificate of Completion.
  • Each day you must complete daily evaluation questions that will be provided to you via a QR code at the end of the presentation. This is required by the Oregon Department of Justice. These questions verify your attendance and assess for knowledge retention. This helps our trainers identify areas for more instruction, so please be sure to include any comments and questions you would like our team to know.
TECHNOLOGY & OTHER ITEMS
  • During OCFIT, the trainers will use Kahoot for various quizzes and activities as well as Survey Monkey for the final test. Participants are welcome to bring a laptop to complete these items, but these items can also be completed on a smart phone. Staff will provide a paper version of the final test, if needed.
  • Participants will be provided with training materials and handouts at check-in.
